TGS NOPEC Geophysical Co. will shoot proprietary 2D marine seismic surveys under an agreement with Colombia’s Agencia de Hidrocarburos.
TGS will shoot 6,400 km of data in the Caribbean and 3,600 km in the Pacific starting in early fourth quarter 2012. The data will provide a new regional view of Colombia’s deepwater geology, TGS said.
The proprietary contract with ANH also includes TGS processing and interpretation services to be completed in late 2013.
