The governments of Canada and Israel have signed an agreement on energy cooperation covering offshore development, new sources of oil and gas supplies, and renewable energy.
They agreed to pursue bilateral relations, share information, and seek opportunities for collaboration in areas where they share interests.
Joe Oliver, Canada’s minister of natural resources, and Uzi Landau, Israel’s minister of energy and water resources, signed the agreement June 26 in Tel Aviv.
