HOUSTON, June 30 -- Range Resources Corp., Fort Worth, approved a chief executive officer transition plan under which current Pres. Jeffrey L. Ventura will assume the additional role of chief executive officer effective January 2012.
John H. Pinkerton, the company’s current chief executive officer, will assume the position of executive chairman. He has served as chief executive officer since 1992.
Ventura, who also serves as chief operating officer, has been with the company since 2003 and was elected a director in 2005. He has 32 years of industry experience.
