HOUSTON, May 27 – Primeline Energy Holdings Inc., Hong Kong, has appointed Chongxin Zhang as general manager of its operational office in Shanghai, effective June 1.
Zhang recently retired from China National Offshore Oil Corp. A geophysicist, he has had a long career with CNOOC, including 13 years as CNOOC Shanghai’s vice-president and 4 years as CNOOC’s chief representative in the US.
Zhang, who has considerable experience in offshore oil and gas exploration and development, particularly in the East China Sea, will work with Yujin Shen, Primeline’s chief representative on all China operations. Shen will retire as executive in due course but will continue as advisor.
