India: Deepwater field contracts awarded

Oil & Natural Gas Corp. Ltd. has let a contract worth more than $10 million to Pegasus International, Aberdeen, for consulting to ONGC on development of Vashishta and S1 gas fields in the Krishna-Godavari basin off India’s east coast.

HOUSTON, Feb. 24
– Oil & Natural Gas Corp. Ltd. has let a contract worth more than $10 million to Pegasus International, Aberdeen, for consulting to ONGC on development of Vashishta and S1 gas fields in the Krishna-Godavari basin off India’s east coast.

Production is 212 MMscfd initially with a further 140 MMscfd of future capacity from several subsea wells in 2,100 ft of water tied by two pipelines to a new onshore terminal.

The consultancy scope covers subsea infrastructure, well engineering and the onshore terminal, including pipeline flow assurance and terminal process engineering.
