HOUSTON, Nov. 23 – Hess Corp., New York, plans to drill a deepwater exploratory prospect in the Gulf of Guinea off Ghana in early 2011.
The Kola prospect is in 6,400 ft of water in the north-central part of the Tano Cape Three Points block a few miles south of giant Jubilee oil field (see map, OGJ, Mar. 15, 2010, p. 34).
Hess operates the large block with 100% working interest.
