HOUSTON, Oct. 26 -- Athens-based independent Aegean Energy has changed its name to Energean Oil & Gas.
Energean is currently focusing its operations in the Mediterranean and in North Africa where it operates oil and gas assets in Greece and Egypt.
The new name, the company reported, expresses the firm’s “commitment to maintain and further expand its business operations internationally.”
