HOUSTON, Dec. 23--Reliance Industries appointed Walter Van De Vijver as president and chief executive officer of its subsidiary, Reliance Exploration & Production DMCC.
He will oversee operation of RIL’s international assets. He will also focus on developing the company’s exploration and production interests in North America and elsewhere.
Van De Vijver is the former group managing director of Shell and has also been the chief executive officer of Shell’s global E&P business.
