HOUSTON, Dec. 16 -- Voting shareholders of Harvest Energy Trust, Calgary, were 90.5% in favor of the trust’s acquisition by Korea National Oil Corp. (OGJ Online, Nov. 2, 2009).
Application to the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta is to be made Dec. 16 for a final order of approval. Competition Bureau of Canada approved the deal, and closing remains subject to satisfaction of other conditions, including approval under the Investment Canada Act.
