HOUSTON, Dec. 14 – Range Resources Ltd., Perth, and Strait Oil & Gas have begun shooting 350 line-km of 2D seismic surveys in former Soviet Georgia.
The Vibroseis survey on onshore blocks Via and VIb on previously identified prospective structures is to be complete by February 2010. Initial reports are encouraging, and the expected geological structures are being identified and outlined to a depth of 5,000 m, Range Resources said.
