HOUSTON, Dec. 4 – Petroamerica Oil Corp., Vancouver, BC, signed a farm-out agreement with Dyas Colombia BV and Serinpet Ltda. on state Ecopetrol’s Playon Block in the Middle Magdalena basin of Colombia.
Subject to Ecopetrol’s approval of the interest assignment, Petroamerica is to pay 100% of the costs required to sidetrack or drill and complete a new well on the Playon structure to earn 50% of the farmors’ interest in the block, or 23.5% net to Petroamerica.
