HOUSTON, Oct. 14 -- A group led by Premier Oil PLC has completed shooting 1,100 sq km of 3D seismic over an oil and gas discovery and adjacent structures on Block 07/03 off Vietnam.
The June discovery flowed at a combined 3,265 b/d of oil and 8.1 MMscfd of gas from two zones in multiple stacked reservoir sands. The 4,915-sq km block lies between the Nam Con Son basin and East Natuna basins, both of which have commercial oil fields.
Block interests are Premier Oil 30%, Pitkin Petroleum PLC through its Vietnam American Exploration Co. unit 40%, and PearlOil and Pan Pacific Petroleum 15% each.
