Cheyenne Resources Corp., Bakersfield, Calif., plans to repressure a Mississippian Fort Payne limestone reservoir in Tennessee using air injection.

HOUSTON, Oct. 23
– Cheyenne Resources Corp., Bakersfield, Calif., plans to repressure a Mississippian Fort Payne limestone reservoir in Tennessee using air injection.

At West Oneida field in Scott County, the company will set two compressors to repressure the reservoir at 1,800 ft and improve oil recovery.

The company’s expectation is for an increase in downhole pressure of 2.5%/month for 9-12 months.
