BNK Petroleum Inc., Calgary, plans to test four zones for commerciality at the first of a series of wells it plans to drill on the Alabama side of the Black Warrior basin.

– BNK Petroleum Inc., Calgary, plans to test four zones for commerciality at the first of a series of wells it plans to drill on the Alabama side of the Black Warrior basin.

The company set production casing to 5,475 ft at the Hickman Farms 30-15, in 30-20s-16w, Pickens County, 9 miles west of Carrollton. Tests are to start in about 30 days.

BNK can earn as much as a 50% working interest from BWB Exploration LLC in part or all of 80,000 acres by paying the costs of each well. BWB is owned 60% by LNG Energy Ltd. and 40% by another independent party.
