HOUSTON, Sept. 28 – Zion Oil & Gas Inc., Dallas, reached total depth of 17,913 ft at the Ma’anit-Rehoboth-2 well in Israel.
The company ran a velocity survey and set 7-5/8-in. casing in preparation for tests. It may take week to obtain a smaller completion rig for tests. One such unit is available in Israel.
Zion will rig down the large rotary for the move to the Elijah-3 drillsite at Kibbutz Carmel Spring.
