LONDON, Sept. 30 -- ACS Cobra Castor UTE let a contract to JP Kenny (JPK) for construction, management, and procurement support services for gas storage facilities off Spain.

This is a 3-year contract that follows the company’s front-end engineering design for the project and includes work on a 22-km offshore pipeline and a 9-km onshore pipeline. JPK will also supply services for a block valve station, a 31-km fiber optic cable, control umbilical, subsea isolation valve, and protection structure.

JPK’s London office will lead the contract with a client support team based in Madrid. The project will require 72,000 man-hr.
