HOUSTON, Aug. 18 – TriDimension Energy LP, Dallas, operating as Axis Onshore LP, set production casing to test Trisler-1, ninth well drilled in the Four Rivers project in east-central Louisiana.
Trisler-1 in Catahoula Parish went to TD 5,400 ft on the Larto Lake prospect, and cores and logs indicate that the primary target Eocene Wilcox A-1 sand is oil bearing. An adjacent reservoir produced 600,000 bbl of oil from three wells in 1986-2003.
Meanwhile, TriDimension’s Missiana 18-11 No. 2 well on the Honey Brake Lake prospect in Catahoula Parish flowed at an initial 100 b/d of oil and is being placed on pump (OGJ Online, Aug. 3, 2009). Pryme Oil & Gas Ltd., Brisbane, has an 18.75% net revenue interest in the well.
