HOUSTON, Aug. 13 – CNOOC Ltd. said it drillstem tested the Qinhuangdao 35-4-3 well in the southern Shijiutuo uplift area of Bohai Bay at average rate of 1,700 b/d of oil and 400 Mcfd of gas on an 11.11-mm choke.
The well, in 26 m of water in north-central Bohai Bay 38 km west of QHD 32-6 oil field, cut 21.4 m of pay zones and “proved a middle-size oilfield,” CNOOC said. TD is 2,215 m.
