KARACHI, Dec. 22 -- Pakistan Sui Southern Gas Co. suspended six senior executives for negligence, and the utility accepted responsibility for damage to a Pak-Aab Refinery Ltd. (Parco) oil pipeline.
The mishap occurred Dec. 17 as employees worked on a gas pipeline adjacent to a 20-in. oil pipeline from the Karachi storage terminal to the Parco refinery.
Parco officials said the pipeline soon would be reactivated with no major disruption of fuel supplies.
