HOUSTON, Nov. 21-- XTO Energy Inc. has promoted Keith A. Hutton to chief executive officer and Vaughn O. Vennerberg II to president, both effective Dec. 1.
Hutton has served as XTO president since 2005 and was employed by the company in various engineering positions since 1987.
Vennerberg began his employment at XTO in 1987 as land manager. He has served as senior executive vice-president and chief of staff since 2005.
