HOUSTON, July 8-- Alon USA Energy Inc., Dallas, has completed the acquisition of the 83,100 b/d refinery in Krotz Springs, La., from Valero Energy Corp., San Antonio.
The purchase price of the transaction was $333 million in cash plus about $140 million for working capital, including inventories.
