LONDON, Feb. 12 -- StatoilHydro AS and GE Oil & Gas will work together on developing technology and sharing research and development experience for specific oil and gas projects under a technology cooperation agreement signed Feb. 12.

StatoilHydro said the partnership would focus on "developing new concepts and technology, as well as improving existing technology, for the efficient exploration, production, and transportation of oil and gas, within onshore, offshore, and subsea environments."

The projects fall under the groups of subsea developments, effective and efficient electric power generation, environment, climate change, and renewable energy.
