Neste Oil names vice-presidents, forms division

Neste Oil Corp. has appointed executive vice-presidents to three of its divisions as part of an internal organization rotation.

HOUSTON, Oct. 1 -- Neste Oil Corp. has appointed executive vice-presidents to three of its divisions as part of an internal organization rotation. Also, the company has named a deputy chief executive officer and it has created a specialty products division. All changes become effective Oct. 16.

The company has selected Jarmo Honkamaa as deputy chief executive officer. Honkamaa, who currently heads up refining, also has been appointed executive vice-president, biodiesel.

Jorma Haavisto, vice-president, Porvoo refinery, has been appointed executive vice-president, refining.

Sakari Toivola, vice-president, base oil, has been appointed executive vice-president, oil retail. He succeeds Matti Peitso, who is retiring. Toivola joined Neste earlier this year from Findland's Oy Esso AB, where he served as chief executive officer.

Neste Oil's current executive vice-president, biodiesel, Kimmo Rahkamo, has been named executive vice-president of the specialty products division. Rahkamo will be responsible for Neste's stake in Nynas Petroleum, a specialist producer of bitumen and naphthenic specialty oils owned in collaboration with Petroleos de Venezuela SA.
