Littell joins Petrol as chief operating officer

Steve Littell, a 20-year oil and gas veteran, has been named chief operating officer of independent Petrol Oil & Gas Inc., Overland Park, Kan.

HOUSTON, Aug. 21 -- Steve Littell, a 20-year oil and gas veteran, has been named chief operating officer of independent Petrol Oil & Gas Inc., Overland Park, Kan.

During the past 10 years, Littell has served in a number of operational and field positions with oil and gas companies in Kansas and the Rocky Mountain region. Most of his responsibilities have involved gas field production activities.

Most recently Littell served as area manager for a Kansas independent, for which he has worked since 2004.

Before that Littell served as a consultant to Evergreen Resources Inc., where he was responsible for production operations, workovers, well hook-ups, flow line installations, disposal well hook-ups, and tank battery installations in the Forrest City basin.

From March 1999 to December 2003, he was a contract worker for Cedar Ridge LLC. From May 1999 to May 2003, Littell was co-owner of Mid Mountain Oil & Gas Service in La Veta, Colo.

Previously, Littell provided gas field well operations services, including well diagnostics, well maintenance, and workovers, for properties managed by J.M. Huber Corp.
