ONGC budgets $315 million for marginal gas fields

India's ONGC has approved a $315 million budget to develop by 2010 a cluster of marginal offshore gas fields on the northwest portion of Bombay High, India's largest offshore oil field.

MUMBAI, June 12 -- India's state-owned Oil & Natural Gas Corp. has approved a $315 million budget to develop by 2010 a cluster of marginal offshore gas fields on the northwest portion of Bombay High, India's largest offshore oil field.

The involved fields lie in the B-Cluster (B-46, B-48, B-105, and B-188). Production from the fields is expected to reach 1.636 million standard cu m/day of gas and 2,890 b/d of condensate.
