GDF names Holleaux E&P vice-president

Didier Holleaux has been appointed vice-president, exploration and production, of Gaz de France. Holleaux succeeds Michel Bayle, who is retiring after managing the E&P division since 2000, when it was established.

PARIS, Mar. 1 -- Didier Holleaux has been appointed vice-president, exploration and production, of Gaz de France. Holleaux succeeds Michel Bayle, who is retiring after managing the E&P division since 2000, when it was established.

Since September 2004, Holleaux served as vice-president of LNG. He joined Gaz de France in 1993 after holding various positions at Citroen, Total SA, and the French Energy Ministry.

At Gaz de France, he has held managing positions in exploration and production, transmission, LNG, and distribution. During 1997-2000, he established and managed GDF Britain, Gaz de France's E&P subsidiary in the UK.
