HOUSTON, Feb. 6 -- Petroleum Agency SA let a contract to CGGVeritas to promote South Africa's 2007 offshore license round.
Seminars are set for Mar. 15 in Johannesburg, Mar. 26 in London, and Mar. 29 in Houston. Bid deadline is July 31.
The acreage offered is in the northern Orange basin shallow water, southern Orange basin deepwater and shelf, proximal Bredasdorp basin, and Algoa offshore basin (OGJ, Jan. 25, 1993, p. 106; OGJ, Dec. 21, 1992, p. 109; and OGJ, Nov. 15, 1993, p. 74).
