LOS ANGELES, Nov. 6 -- Eni SPA has signed a production-sharing contract with Angola's state-owned Sonangol for the 2,984 sq km deepwater exploration Block 15/06, 350 km off Luanda.
Eni will drill 8 wells and conduct 3D seismic surveys on a 1,500 square km area, which will be carried out in the first 5 years of exploration.
Eni holds a 35% stake and will operate Block 15/06, which is adjacent to Block 15 in which it holds a 20% share.
