HOUSTON, Nov. 10 -- China's CNOOC Ltd. said the Jinzhou (JZ) 31-6-1 wildcat, drilled in Bohai Bay to 2,305 m TD, tested gas from 16.5 m of pay.
JZ 31-6-1 was drilled in the East Block of Liaodong Bay in an average of 28 m of water.
During a drillstem test, gas flowed at a rate of 11.7 MMcfd on an 11.91 mm choke, CNOOC said.
