HOUSTON, Oct. 24 -- Eurogas Corp., Calgary, said its Spanish subsidiary signed an assistance contract with ACS Group, a Spanish industrial group, for development of the Castor underground gas storage project in the Gulf of Valencia off Spain.
ACS Group will undertake a front-end engineering and design study and provide permitting and licensing studies (OGJ Online, Apr. 6, 2006).
The study will take 5-6 months and result in a fixed-price determination for the project investment. It will form the basis for the award of a turnkey contract for engineering, procurement, and construction.
