LOS ANGELES, Oct. 23 -- Abu Dhabi Gas Industries Ltd. (Gasco) has awarded National Petroleum Construction Co. (NPCC) an engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning contract for Package 3 of the Offshore Associated Gases (OAG) project.
The agreement calls for the construction by March 2009 of 90 km of 30-in. pipeline from Ras Al Qila to Habshan facilities, Habshan plant facilities, substations, equipment shelters, compressor shelter, and associated works.
The contract also covers the construction of 50 km of 36-in. pipeline from Bu Hasa to Habshan facilities, a chemical injection package at Bu Hasa, scraper receiver and slug catcher at Habshan facilities, and a control building at Habshan.
