HOUSTON, Oct. 19 -- Geoscience BC, Vancouver, sought input on ways to stimulate investment in mineral exploration and oil and gas development in the province.
The organization urged industry, academia, First Nations, communities, and other nonprofit groups to submit letters of intent by for applied geoscience projects by Nov. 6.
It issued the call "to ensure we are investing in the best projects with the greatest potential," Geoscience BC said.
Proposed projects should clearly demonstrate the potential application to exploration in the province.
