HOUSTON, Sept. 1 -- Foothills Resources Inc. is testing its Foothills California Christiansen 3-15 well in Grizzly Bluff gas field in the Eel River basin in Humboldt County, Calif.

The well, which was projected to 4,300 ft, is 800 ft south of Forexco Christiansen 1R-15, on stream since early 2004.

Foothills Christiansen 3-15 flowed at a rate of more than 1.9 MMcfd of nearly pipeline-quality gas on a 16/64-in. choke.

Earlier reports state that drilling and electric log evaluation indicated multiple gas zones between 3,600 ft and 3,900 ft in this well.

The company plans a 3D seismic survey over the field in the fourth quarter.
