Teikoku to boost its Venezuela gas production

Japan's Teikoku Oil Co. plans a 50% increase of production at its Venezuelan natural gas fields by 2008, with the entire increase to be sold on the local market.

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 18 – Japan's Teikoku Oil Co. plans a 50% increase of production at its Venezuelan natural gas fields by 2008, with the entire increase to be sold on the local market.

Teikoku said production volumes from East Guarico and Sanvi Guere blocks will increase to 120 million cu m/day from 80 million cu m/day.
