Pertamina unit to build biodiesel plant

PT Elnusa, a subsidiary of Indonesia's state-owned Pertamina, plans to build a biodiesel plant in Merak, Banten, with PT Indo Biofuels Energy.

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 7 -- PT Elnusa, a subsidiary of Indonesia's state-owned Pertamina, plans to build a biodiesel plant in Merak, Banten, with PT Indo Biofuels Energy.

When finished in about 3 years, the facility will be able to produce up to 60 million l./year of biodiesel for delivery to Pertamina.
