HOUSTON, June 14 -- Spartan Petroleum Corp., Houston, has entered a production-sharing agreement (PSA) with the government of Belize covering 250,000 acres in the northern portion of the country.
Spartan said it will start geophysical work soon.
The PSA is one of five awarded since 2005 by the country, which recently had its first commercial oil discovery (OGJ, Mar. 6, 2006, Newsletter).
