HOUSTON, May 30 -- Engen Petroleum Ltd. has agreed to license two ConocoPhillips Co. technologies for installation in 2008 at its 135,000 b/cd refinery in Durban, South Africa.
It will use ConocoPhillips's split olefin feed technology to boost product yield and gasoline octane and its reduced volatility alkylation process to cut volatility of hydrofluoric acid catalyst.
