HOUSTON, Mar. 28 -- The Victoria Group of Novi Sad, Serbia, has let a contract to Lurgi AG, Frankfurt, for the supply of equipment for a 100,000 tonne/year biodiesel plant and a related vegetable oil plant of the same size to be built in Sid near Belgrade.
The plants will process sunflower oil, soybean oil, and rapeseed oil into edible oils or biodiesel, depending on market conditions. They are to go on stream in early 2007.
