HOUSTON, Mar. 6 -- Falcon Gas Storage Co. Inc., Houston, is gauging shipper interest in 15 bcf of additional working gas capacity at its proposed Mobay Storage Hub in Mobile County, Ala., due to strong demand for capacity in the project's first phase.
A nonbinding open season is being held through Mar. 15.
The expanded first-phase scope of the project would bring the total working gas capacity to 27 bcf.
Meanwhile, Falcon is completing binding, multiyear precedent agreements for 100% of MoBay's originally planned 12 bcf of capacity, which is to be operational in October 2007.
