Bankers Petroleum Ltd., Calgary, said a subsidiary signed a contract to make available 1,400-1,600 b/d of crude oil from Patos-Marinza field to an unspecified refinery in Italy at the rate of two cargoes per month.

HOUSTON, Mar. 2 -- Bankers Petroleum Ltd., Calgary, said a subsidiary signed a contract to make available 1,400-1,600 b/d of crude oil from Patos-Marinza field to an unspecified refinery in Italy at the rate of two cargoes per month.

Bankers unit Saxon International Energy Ltd. expects to continue to sell part of the field's production to the Armo refinery in Albania.

Bankers has filed a plan of development for the field with the National Petroleum Agency of Albania. The field produces 2,500 b/d from 70 wells.
