KARACHI, Feb. 15 -- Operations have resumed at Oil & Gas Development Corp.'s Loti gas processing plant in the Nasirabad district of Pakistan's Baluchistan province following repairs to damage caused by pipeline explosions and fires 2 weeks ago.

Loti operations were upset and the 586 Mw Uch power plant shut down when Dera Murad Jamali outlaws in separate incidents blew up portions of the 24-in. pipelines supplying gas to the two units and destroyed an 18 ft portion of a pipeline connecting the Loti gas plant to well No. 6 in the Chattar district about 40 km from Dera Bugti.

In addition to the pipeline sabotage, heavy fighting also erupted Jan. 29 between security forces and warring tribesmen in Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Ltd.'s Pirkoh gas field area.
