HOUSTON, Feb. 8 -- Corridor Resources Inc., Halifax, applied to the province's public utilities board to build a 49 km, 8 in. pipeline to connect McCully gas field with the Maritimes & Northeast Pipeline.

Corridor placed initial deliveries at 25 MMcfd and said the line could go in service by late 2006. Ultimate capacity is 88 MMcfd at maximum compression. The connection will allow gas deliveries to New Brunswick and New England.

Meanwhile, all six McCully field wells hydraulically fractured in October-November 2005 "showed evidence of improved reservoir flow properties near the wellbore," Corridor said.

The company estimates that McCully has more than 1 tcf of gas in place. Two wells have been flowing gas to a local market for three years. The field is less than 20% developed.
