LOS ANGELES, Feb. 23 -- India has put up 55 oil and gas and 10 coalbed methane blocks for bidding under the sixth round of New Exploration Licensing Policy (OGJ, Nov. 21, 2005, Newsletter).
Bidding for the blocks—24 in deep water, 6 in shallow water, and 25 onshore—opens on Feb. 28 and closes Sept. 15.
