HOUSTON, Feb. 17 -- CNOOC Ltd. signed a five-year production sharing contract on 2,287 sq km Block S with the Ministry of Mines, Industry and Energy and state GEPetrol.
The block is in the Atlantic in 30-1,500 m of water off southern Rio Muni. Work commitment includes seismic data interpretation and drilling exploration wells.
