HOUSTON, Jan. 9 -- Husky Oil Operations Ltd., Calgary, will shortly spud two wells in the Mackenzie Valley, said participant International Frontier Resources Corp., Calgary.

Husky et al. Stewart D-57, formerly Tehwa D-57, is a wildcat projected to 3,100 m to evaluate multiple objectives. IFRC holds 7.5% interest. The drill site is 35 km southeast of the Summit Creek B-44 discovery well.

Husky et al. Summit Creek K-44 will appraise the Devonian formation encountered in the Summit Creek B-44 discovery well tested in March 2005. K-44, 1.4 km north of B-44 and projected to 3,615 m, will also evaluate a deeper exploration target of Ordovician age.
