Petroceltic appoints exploration staff

Petroceltic International PLC, Dublin, appointed technical and operating management in preparation for late 2005 drilling on the 10,871 sq km Isarene Permit in Algeria's Illizi basin 100 km south of giant Tin Fouye Tabankort oil and gas field.

Eloi Dolivo becomes exploration manager, Algeria. He has evaluated geological and geophysical aspects of more than a dozen projects in Africa, including three in Algeria, in the last 3 years and has more than 25 years' experience.

Phil Thompson is senior geophysicist, Algeria. With more than 20 years' experience, he has managed exploration projects for ExxonMobil, Oryx Energy, Vanco Energy, and Island Oil & Gas.

Dermot Cosgrove becomes operations manager for Algeria. He was a senior operations, security, and logistics consultant for Anadarko Algeria Corp.
