HOUSTON, July 27 -- Ridgeway Petroleum Corp., Calgary independent with helium and carbon dioxide properties in Arizona and New Mexico, appointed Rodney L. Eson as chairman. He was a director since November 2004.

Eson, chief executive officer of Foothill Energy LLC, has held a series of technical and executive positions with General Dynamics Corp., Century Oil Management Inc., Enhanced Petroleum Technology Inc., and Venoco Inc.
