Plains All American Pipeline names Nerbonne vice-president

Plains All American Pipeline LP has appointed Daniel J. Nerbonne as vice-president, engineering.

HOUSTON, Mar. 10 -- Plains All American Pipeline LP has appointed Daniel J. Nerbonne as vice-president, engineering.

Nerbonne has 25 years of experience in the pipeline industry. Prior to joining Plains All American, he served as general manager, portfolio projects, for Shell Oil Products US since January 2004.

Prior to that, from 1998, Nerbonne served in various capacities, including general manager, commercial and joint interest, with Shell Pipeline Co. Prior to joining Shell, Nerbonne spent 18 years with Texaco Trading & Transportation and its affiliates, where he held numerous positions in engineering, operations, and business development, including vice-president, business development.

In his new role, Nerbonne will oversee the partnership's project implementation activities and maintenance activities, including its API 653 storage tank program and pipeline integrity management program.
