HOUSTON, Jan. 11 -- Esso Exploration & Production Chad Inc. awarded Wood Group ESP a 10-year contract to supply electric submersible pumping (ESP) systems and related services for three oil fields in the Doba region of southern Chad (OGJ Online, Nov. 24, 2004).
The contract includes the maintenance and repair of current pumps, along with the installation, maintenance, and repair of new ESPs to be supplied by Wood Group ESP.
Esso operates the fields through a consortium that includes Petronas Carigali (Chad EP) Inc. and Chevron Petroleum Chad Co. Ltd.
