HOUSTON, Dec. 7 -- Oklahoma City-based Kerr-McGee Oil & Gas Corp., a wholly owned affiliate of Kerr-McGee Corp., has named Don Vardeman vice-president, marine engineering.
Vardeman has 25 years of experience with Kerr-McGee and nearly 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He started with Sun Exploration & Production Co., a predecessor of Oryx Energy Co. and Kerr-McGee, in 1979 as the district electrical engineer in Midland, Texas. In 2000, he was director of worldwide deepwater facilities.
